RHEL 5.5 Connectivity Issue

Hi all,

We currently have RHEL5 installed on our servers on a subnet 10.71.?.?

On another subnet 192.168 .?.? we have some Windows machines.

We want to have remote connectivity to the RHEL Servers.

When we ping the RHEL servers from the 192.168.?.? subnet we get replies but after about 10secs connectivity is lost.

We have added routes to both networks on the servers and pcs.

The twist is that when we connect a Windows PC to the 10.71.?.? subnet there is a stable connectivity between the Windows PC and the windows machines on the 192.168.?.? subnet.

Hence, i am guessing there might be a configuration issue on the RHEL Servers.

Please does anyone have and idea of what is wrong or a possible solution?
