Revoke ROLE on table from user

Hi Team ,

I'm trying to revoke grant on table from user

The below statement is giving error saying

[code]

REVOKE <role_nm> on <a.table_nm> from <b.user_nm>

Error is: ORA-00990: missing or invalid privilege

[/code]

But the following is working fine

[code]

REVOKE ALL ON <a.table_nm> from <b.user_nm>

[/code]

Please suggest me , to revoke grant on table from user
