reversi smart strategy

I am currently making a Reversi game and I am looking for a simple good computer strategy other than the biggest possible combination available. I tried researching on google but there were no helpful websites. If you could provide me with a strategy that "looks ahead" in the game and is smarter than the biggest combination strategy, or provide me with a website where such a strategy is explained, it would be greatly appreciated.
