RETURNING INTO clause

Hello Everyone,

Can someone tell me if I can use the RETURNING INTO clause with an INSERT statement not being in a PL/SQL block?

I wanted to use it in OCI with a "pure" SQL INSERT statement.

Is it just availlable in PL/SQL blocks?
