Oracle Database Discussions

Me and a fellow student on the IT-University in Copenhagen currently runs some test of an new algorithm about the path from a node up to the root node which saves space without losing information.

However, we have some difficulty retrieving the size of the databases we are working on to get some solid prof whether our thesis holds.

So could anybody please help us on how the size (the size of the data in the database) is retrived.

It is a Oracle version 10.* we are working on.
