Hi Gurus,

I am trying to understand the concept of ASH.I have some doubt . please clear me on th following

1. How long oracle will retain the data in v$actvive_session_history?

2. While taking the AWR snapshot i have read some thing like 1 row in 10 from the ASH buffer is copied down into the AWR repository. what may be the condition for selecting these 1 row ?

3. Is all dba_hist_ view have the same retention as specified for the AWR repository retention ?

4. How can I check if a particular query is executed in the past ? ( only specific query is provided by the developer )

I would greatly appreciate any help

Thanks in Advance,

Mahi
