Restricted Characters in Items using different languages

Hello,

I have several page items for which I want to restrict characters to “Allowlist for a-Z, 0-9 and space”, but my end users might use Finnish, Swedish and English languages. Why are only English language letters allowed? Can this somehow be fixed?
