restoring raw device backup through veritas

Hi
I have HP-UX platform with 9i-Rac DB(raw device).
Backingup raw devices through veritas netbackup seems posible and also can restore it on same location. But when tring to restore it to diff location it doesn't allow us.As we need to do it for cloaning purpose.
