Restoring Polylines/Polygons

I have a requirement where in end users should be able to
1) Draw Polylines and Polygons on the map and carry over the coordinates to the database.
2) Restore the polylines and polygons back on the map, from the persisted coordinates, when the user revisits the page.
I am able to achieve the first requirement using the MVRedLineTool class but I am struggling to meet the second requirement. Any help/ideas on how this can be achieved would be appreciated.
I am using Oracle Maps Javascript APIs on the build "Ver1033p5_B081010".
