Restore Rman backup set from AIX to Liunx ( Oracle db 11.2 )

HI ,

I have a Oracle 11.2 Database on ASM ( small database 10G ) , and want to restore to a linux ( ASM ) 11.2 with rman . Is it possible ? Do I need a special steps to handle ?
