Restore & Recover SYSAUX datafile while DB up

Hi,

Due to data block corruption of SYSAUX, need to keep it offline then recover and make it online.

sql 'alter database datafile 2 offline';
restore datafile 2;
recover datafile 2;
sql 'alter database datafile 2 online';

Is it possible to do this operation while Database is up? or we need to keep it down?
