restore database into new diskgroup from net backup

user10693802Aug 31 2012 — edited Sep 7 2012
Hi,

I'm facing an issue with recovering my database into a brand new diskgroup, my scenario is listed below:

My database is running on ASM and all of my disk live on SAN. Netbackup is run everyday to backup these disk. I lost all disks in both of my diskgroup DATA, BACKUP. I was given a new SAN slides which can be used to create new diskgroup DATA and BACKUP. But I'm not sure if it's possible to get the netbackup to dump database back into the two new diskgroup and what else do I need to do in order to get my database backup and running again.

Thanks for looking at this.
