Resource limit...

hi

i have doubt on resource limit is

Maximum CPU time per call (100ths of a second)

cpu_per_call <value | UNLIMITED | DEFAULT>

ALTER PROFILE developer LIMIT cpu_per_call 3000;

above is the syntax of cpu_per_call and it is giving 3000 but what is stands for and 100ths of a second means

kindly explain me ....in details...
