Resizing the online redologs:

Dear all,

One of my client want to resize the redo logs from 50mb to 100mb , and he told that it will improve the performance . May i know how it will effect in increasing the database performance.

Is there any detailed documentation on this particular. As a dba i dont think so it will increase the performance . I need to explain in brief to my client , please help regarding this...
