Resizing or switching UNDO-Tablespace

Hi all,

I am not the DBA. But in the customer 10.1.0.4 database is the UNDO tablespace actually at 23GB!
In internet I have found the following note for resizing (switching) of UNDO tablespace:

Can I use the steps from this note? Can I have the problems with switching the UNDO tablespace?
