Resize SGA_MAX_SIZE

Hi Gurus,

My platform is Oracle 10g on Solaris.

I want to increase my SGA_MAX_SIZE. It will be a great help if can give the steps to increse my sga_max_size.I am having enough ram and I don't want to use SGA_TARGET parameter. Any help manual is also welcome!!!
