Resetting Filter Prompts when navigating to Dashboard Page

HI everyone! Bumped into this weird situation when navigating from a source report to a target dashboard page and then heading back to another dashboard page. It seems that the prompt value filters are activated on every succeeding dashboard page because of this.

Scenario as follows:

I have a source report

Item ID **** Status **** Contact
12345 ***** Open **** SomePerson

If I click on SomePerson (Value Navigation Drill-Down) it takes me to a Dashboard Page which has Contact = SomePerson filter applied, which works as expected.

But now when I navigate to all the other dashboard pages, both the Status=Open and Contact=SomePerson are applied on all views. Is there a way such that clicking the Dashboard Page Tab would also reset by default all the prompted filter values from the prompts?

Thanks! I'm learning a lot here. Any help would be appreciated.
