Reports9i cannot display Simplified Chinese characters on PDF format???

hi:
On Oracle White Paper said that report output to pdf can support muli-language including Simplified Chinese now.But what's right step to follow to solve this problem.
When run report with paper layout, it can display correctly Chinese characters. But when I try to generate the report to pdf the Chinese characters will appear as junk !!!
