Reports 6i, no of layouts in RDF

We are using ORacle reports 6i. Is there a limitation on the number of layouts in the report. what is the impact of adding more layouts. I am about to make a report with 8 layouts , one of the layouts will be selected at runtime based on a report parameter. Will it cause any performance issues. I appreciate your help with this.
