Reports 10g, stuck in job queue

Hi all,

I am trying to generate reports by sending a request from a forms application using web.show_document. Most of the times it is working fine and i can view the jobs completed in the reports server job queue. But sometimes the report gets submitted to the job queue and the job status says "opening the report" and it never finishes running, i have to cancel the job. It does not allow me to run any report until i cancel it.
Can anyone be of my help in resolving this?
