Reporting Options
Hi Guys,
I was interested on what people are doing generally to add reporting functionality to their application created in Application Express.
There is no denying that the database and HTML DB tool is great for creating light weight web based applications etc and i agree this is a direct competitor of MS Access however i find the lack of reporting functionality quite disappointing and inferior to Microsofts light weight DB package.
For example, i have created a time and expense application which is used to record time spent on a project and expenses incurred whilst working away from home etc. The problem i have is that i'd like to extract this data and create paper based reports to submit to clients etc.
So what approaches have people used in their application.
