Report Query length limit

Hello, can anybody tell if there is a limit on how long the query string can be in "Shared Components\Report Queries\Edit Report Query" . Is there a 4K limit? When I enter a query which is about 5K and when I hit "Test Report" Button I get error:

ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small

If I trim the query to under 4K it seems to be working.
