Report Error - Group has no break column

Hi everyone,
I am getting an error REP-1259 "Group has no break column".
I have made some changes to the Report's Query where in I had to remove a table and its columns. Doing this has affected the report's layout.
I tried to make one of the existing formula column's as a break column for the Group but this also did not work. The report continues to give the same error.
Please help me out.
