Report does not accept the query starting "with a as"

Hi All,

I have a report that needs calculate few metrics. So I have developed a query that starts like this

with a as
(select
..columns
from
..tables), a1 as
(select
..few calcualtions)
(select grand total, % from ...)
"
But in the report builder this is not acceptable it says REP-0303 - The statement is not a select statement. Please advice how I can get around this situation.
