Replication in 10g from AIX platform (primary) to Linux platform (standby)

I support several 10g databases that run on IBM pSeries servers running AIX. I am being asked by our Data Center staff whether or not we can replicate from the primary running on AIX to a standby database running on a Linux server. I am not certain whether the different endian formats will be an issue. Can someone please advise me on this? Thank you!
