Replicat very slow and no data populated in target DB

LANCERIQUENov 23 2017 — edited Dec 4 2017

Hi Gurus,

I have golden gate 11.2.1.0.31 running with one extract and one replicate between HOST A Database A(Source) and Host B , Database B (Target). Both hosts are in the same data center and no network latency.

I did a huge import (99336434 records). Extract created trail files from ip000600 to ip000789 (100MB each) and replicat started reading each trail files doing the job.

Doubts.

1)     I can see Replicat started lagging and it keep increasing. Is this normal behavior?

2)     I do not see any records in my target DB table. My understanding was that each trail file will be read by replicat and processed and records will be visible at target end.

3)     When I hit report replicat, i could see that each trail file is being read in approx 15 mins. How can i improve the performance of the replicat to process faster?

Regards,

lancerique.
