I got the following probel,

Our Setup,

Server1 is Primary Master
Server2 is secondary Master

I first install iPlanet directiory server 5.1sp3 on the server2 but not do init replica.

Then I install iPlanet directory server 5.1sp3 on the server1 and do init replica after intallation.

The server1 becomes hanging on init and meanwhile on server2 error log, it continously log out the message like below every 10 seonds,

[21/Apr/2005:21:32:10 +0000] NSMMReplicationPlugin - Replica "cn=My Replication Agreement, cn=replica, cn="o=my.com", cn=mapping tree, cn=config (host server1, port 25000)" has a different generation ID than the local data.
[21/Apr/2005:21:32:21 +0000] NSMMReplicationPlugin - Replica "cn=My Replication Agreement, cn=replica, cn="o=my.com", cn=mapping tree, cn=config (host server1, port 25000)" has a different generation ID than the local data.
...

After around 20 minutes, it log out the following message,
[21/Apr/2005:21:50:34 +0000] NSMMReplicationPlugin - multimaster_be_state_change: replica o=my.com is going offline; disabling replication

Meanwhile server1 exit the hanging on state.

After that the log message is,

Sometime luckily, no hanging on happens. but sometime it did happens.

Could you plesae tell me what is going wrong or is it a buy in directory server 5.1sp3?
