Replacement Hard Drive for Sun Ultra 5

My ultra 5 is in dire need of a Hard Drive replacement.

I am currently running 2.6 solaris (I have to because of proprietary software that is no longer supported that only runs on 2.6 to my knowledge.)

I bought a used drive (mistake) that lasted 5 weeks. Thankfully I had kept the other one around just in case.

I need to buy a new drive that will work on my existing ultra 5.

What specifications should I look for and what do you think my best bet is.

It is currently a Seagate Medalist ST38420A ultra/ATA.

Can I slap a current ATA drive in of my choosing or do I need to look for certain specs.
