replace exact match of the string

example) I have to replace commercial with commercialUS. I have four rows with

commercial

12commercial21

commercialUS

commercialCA

expected output:

commercialUS

12commercialUS21

comemrcialUS

commercialCA

in the column. But i have to only replace commercial with commercialUS i.e only first two columns should be updated. If i use replace functions then all columns are getting updated. I should not include commercialUS and commercialCA.
