Repeated ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified

Hi,

Oflate, we have been experiencing repeated ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified on our RAC environment.

I have browsed through Metalink...had some luck..but how do one prevent this ?
