REP-56105: Engine rwEng-0 died with error ... uname: not found

After a clean install of OAS 10g on Solaris (no reports/forms or j2ee apps installed) the object 'OC4J_BI_Forms' periodically shuts down. After enabling logging I can see that it occurs every 2/3 minutes i.e. log file snippet.

I have search this forum and found very little helpful information, I get a reference to bugs 2405332 and 2187013 but little else. Can anyone offer any help.
