REP-50152: Error while sending mail - Sending failed;

Dear All,

I have OAS Forms and Report service 9.0.4 on WIN 2000 Server and I have successfully run the palyslip.rdf which mailed to related employee on my previous server.
But Now we have transferred and configured to new server (Window 2003 server) Now while running this report it's not running and gives the following error.

REP-50152: Error while sending mail - Sending failed;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: xyz.abc.local, port: 25;
nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

Note:The server is able to Ping the SMTP server xyz.abc.local.

Please help in this regard that will be highly appriciative.
