REP-1800: Formatter error

Problem Description: Good afternoon,

I want to express an issue related to ORACLE Reports, when I try to run it to file (exporting to PDF file format), the error “REP-1800: Formatter error” appears.

It is good to mention that we want to call the report from an ORACLE Form and when we do that the same error arise. I want a Postscript Printer on the servers because my goal is to print a PDF file in a digital way.

The main parameters are:

DESTYPE=file,
Desname = /prodappl/prodappl/pay/11.5.0/ECPE/,
DESFORMAT="PDF"

The ORACLE Forms and Reports Version is 6i and the operating system version is “AIX 5”.
