REP-0736 error - URGENT URGENT

Hi all,

Am in the middle of an upgrade program, taking Reports 2.5 to 9.
Some of our reports are returning the following error:

REP-0736: There exist uncompiled program unit(s)

I have looked through a lot of information (metalink and here) and have followed the many steps provided in these documents, including:
* recompiled, making sure the same user
* converting to .rex and back to .rdf
* using recursive_load=no

During the conversion of one report, the following occured:
1. Open report, compile all, save, close
2. Convert report from .rdf to .rex successful
3. Convert report from .rex to .rdf - fail with same 0736 error.

This is not happenning to all reports and there is no consistency between having a library attached and having the error.

Our reports versions are as follows:
Windows reports builder: 9.0.4.0.33
Unix reports runtime: 9.0.4.0.21

Any input will be appreciated.
