Removing special characters from arabic string

I i have generated excel file containg two arabic character column. one of these two columns is user enterable and due to special characters this columns arabic is coming as garbage, whereas the another column which does not have special characters is coming properly. please help me to remove special characters as arabic is itself in special character group.
