Removing Oracle Data Provider for .NET

613552Dec 13 2007 — edited Dec 18 2007
I installed Oracle a while ago. Then I uninstalled in from my computer. Now when I am in Visual Studio.NET and I click on "connect to database" an error that says "An unexpected error occured in the Oracle Data Provider for .NET"

It will not let me connect to any database, including Access, and it will not let me work with any database at all. You can see what kind of problem this poses. Visual Studio is useless to me if I cannot access some sort of database.

By the way, I have done everything I could think of, uninstalling Visual Studio and then reinstalling it - trying to find out how to remove the oracle component in Visual Studio. I have spent two weeks trying to figure this out. I am ready to throw it all out the window.

:)

rrrgh - very frusterated.
Can someone please help me with this.

My email is evasimcoe@yahoo.com
Please email me so I can get the solution right away, as I am developing a project right now.
Thank you,
Eva
