Removing JAVA 2 Runtime Environment

Hello:
I am currently installing the newest upgrade of J2SDK-1_4_1_01 on my
Celleron 700MHz windows ME platform.

However whem I look in Install/Uninstall under Add Remove Program Properties there is an item JAVA 2 Runtime Environment,SE v1.4.0_01. Since I am installing the newest upgrade,I have tried to use
the Add/Remove button to get rid of this item.However it is still there!
How can I get rid of this ??
