Remove kernel

HuaMin ChenAug 14 2012 — edited Aug 14 2012
Hi Dude/Avi,
Further to the previous thread regarding enlarging boot, I did try to delete these 2 PAE kernels.
[root@hpi5 ~]# yum remove kernel-2.6.18-308.1.1.0.1.el5PAE
Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security
Setting up Remove Process
No Match for argument: kernel-2.6.18-308.1.1.0.1.el5PAE
adobe-linux-i386 | 951 B 00:00
el5_latest | 1.4 kB 00:00
el5_unsupported | 951 B 00:00
ol5_u7_base | 1.1 kB 00:00
No Packages marked for removal

[root@hpi5 ~]# yum remove kernel-2.6.18-308.8.2.el5PAE
Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security
Setting up Remove Process
No Match for argument: kernel-2.6.18-308.8.2.el5PAE
No Packages marked for removal

And I think it is not a sucess to remove both above since I still see 12Mb for boot. Any advice?
[root@hpi5 ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
625G 339G 254G 58% /
/dev/sda1 99M 83M 12M 88% /boot
tmpfs 2.0G 0 2.0G 0% /dev/shm

Many Thanks & Best Regards,
HuaMin
