Remove history without de-version/re-version

James ThomsonDec 15 2008 — edited Mar 26 2010
Is there any way to remove history from a specific table without de-version/re-version?

For the organisation, it's a critical application. The clients now realise they don't need history on all versioned tables (but they still need to be version enabled to support long transactions).

The build up of history is affecting performance, so it has to be removed.

To de-version/re-version a table, all open child workspaces must be resolved. We can do this if we have to, but it will have a business impact - so I'm looking for another option.

WM: 10.2.0.4
DB: 10.2.0.3
Windows2003(x64)

Thanks
