hi all ,

i have oracle 11g rac with asm in RHEL5
i have 2 nodes
node 1 VIP 115
node 2 VIP 116
for each of these nodes i have local listener as oracle said , also i have remote listener
witch is listen for these two node and do the load balancing and my remote listener is set to SCAN ip as oracle

my question is :
the remote listener is reside in which node due to i found the same listener reside in node 1 and node 2 as remotely
also when the connection is came to database the listener (remote) is detect that new connection is coming , and then
it's see which node is have less load and forward this connection to local listener , so i need to know the remote listener
reside in node 1 and node 2 or ... i don't know ????

many thanks
