Relink error whilst applying 11.2.0.3 PSU Jan 2014

We are running with the following Linux setup:

Linux 2.6.39-200.29.1.el5uek #1 SMP Fri Jul 6 08:01:33 EDT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

We have installed 11.2.0.3 (p10404530). All fine so far. Oracle Home only, database build to follow..

Meanwhile, we attempt to patch our installed ORACLE_HOME to PSU Jan2014 using the following patch: p17540582_112030_Linux-x86-64.

The relink at the tail-end of the patch fails with the following:

Feb 21, 2014 9:46:29 AM] OUI-67200:Make failed to invoke "/usr/bin/make -f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle ORACLE_HOME=/oracle_base/SBLBLT1/db/tech_st/11.2.0"....'/oracle_base/SBLBLT1/db/tech_st/11.2.0/lib//libserver11.a(kspt.o):(.rodata+0x2a0c0): undefined reference to `sldbgp'

Hmm..Does this ring any bells folks .? Am I missing sommat obvious .?

I have raised an SR with Oracle, but right now its tumbleweed.
