relative codebase in jnlp file?

For testing, I deploy my JWS stuff to a local webserver and once testing is complete it goes out to the real webserver. I haven't been able to get the .jnlp file to work without including an absolute codebase entry. Am I missing something? Is there a way to have the resources located relative to the current directory in the webserver?
