As a GC, it would be helpful to have rejection options for compliance documents that do not meet specified requirements (ex. Certificate of Insurance, Workers Comp, PW Documents, etc.). Currently, there is only the option to mark as “Not Received,” which looks the same for reviewed and unreviewed documents. In addition, when placing comments for why the document is rejected in the “Public Comments” box, it would be helpful if this information were included in the rejection notification that is sent to the subcontractor. This allows the sub to know specifically why the document was not accepted and prevents delayed communication and frustration for both parties.
In addition, it would be helpful to have the notes in the “Comment” section for lien waiver compliance to also show on the notification that the subcontractor receives upon rejection.
