Regular Expression

HI,

I am new to java programming. I need some regular expressions for my following scenarios:

1. Text should begin with only alphabet and the remaining letters can be any of the one given in brackets ( "-", 0-9, "_" ).
2. Third character of the given text must not be a "-", and all the conditions given in 1 are applicable to this also.
