Registry Error while Installing Oracle 11g R2. WinXP SP3.

Goodday everyone,

Im having problems while trying to do a Oracle 11 installation on a Windows XP SP3 machine. The OUI works perfect but while it enters the last step (step 9 of 10), the real installation stops with the popup error: "An error occurred while reading the registry." Does anyone know what the problem can be.
