regexp_replace to remove <font> tag

Hi, there,

Oracle 11g R2.

As we are exporting xml data which contains rich text to an external system. However the target systesm says an error on some of the html tags, particularly the high level <font #000000> tag. They want us to remove this tag. Can any one please help me to do this using regexp_replace function?
