regex: no-break space woe

Yesterday I had a suffering around space characters that could not match regex

\s

. It turned out to be unicode no-break space 00A0, c2a0 in UTF-8.

What could be a proper regex pattern that could match all kind of spaces including 0020, 00A0 and other rare species of spaces?
