regarding performance

i have oracle version 9.2.0.1.0
so i can not use owb or anything without patch
so i am going with eclipse BIRT tools
now my problem starts with that i can not use cubes or materialized view made by oracle in eclipse BIRT,this tool provide facility to create cube inside it with selected data sets made by us
so i make idea that i have created a single view in oracle through which can be used in BIRT to creating cube inside it
now when i trying to show my view in oracle using enterprise console it takes more than 10 minutes to show beacuse i have large database
view has more than 1 lakh ,50 thousands rows

so when i creating cube using this view in BIRT and implements in It try to show it takes hour to show my data of cube in REPORT

can anybody give me proper suggesion

i am really confused since 2 weeks with this issue
