Hi Experts,
I am consistently seeing "ARCH Wait On Attach" as the top background wait event.
Could you please give me some pointer to understand what exactly is this one ?

Seems this is related something with stand-by databases and Data Guards. (have never worked with these )
Little background:
As a part of Oracle upgrade from 10g to 11g, we have created a test 11g environment and moved our code from 10g to 11g. One of our nightly batch job timing got increased from ~4hrs to ~11hrs.
While going through the AWR, this wait event took my attention.
