Refreshing a table between PROD to DEV (but number of columns are different)

Dear Experts,

Need to refresh from PROD to DEV ..

A table have 52 columns which is in PROD Database.

A same table have 68 columns which is in DEV database.

Here problem, user does NOT that extra columns to be dropped at DEV database.

Without disturbing extra columns, is it possible to complete refresh from PROD to DEV ?

DB : 11204 on RHEL
